WELL DONE ! Good food is everywhere BUT you must know where to get them. Try to do something to guide tourist from one place to another to hunt for good food or set up an good food search list/ tour guide start from Jonker street to Jalan Bunga Raya. One more thing to mention, don't abandone Bunga Raya street , it's potensial area too! Let see how you gonna to do about it !

Abd Rahman:
For your information, Jonker Street and other neighboring old streets are all located within the Old Melaka area, which were once known as Melaka Chinatown before it's re-branded. For the dinner on your first night, maybe I can suggest you all to have Portuguese-style seafood dinner, at Portuguese Settlement. Besides, you may also consider Baba Nyonya food at Ole Sayang (Address: 198-199, Taman Melaka Raya. Phone: 06 - 283 1966). You may call up Ole Sayang to confirm its pork-free status (I don't think it's certified Halal yet).

Jesse:
Jonker 88 and chicken rice balls are all operating from landed properties (shops), and thus they are opening during weekdays as well, except on their individually preferred rest day.

Hi,
Was planning to visit melaka soon. The trip was plan to be on weekdays though.
Very interested to go to Jonker street for the well known stall 88.
I know that the bazzar market opens on the weekends from Friday but what about other stalls located in the street itself for e.g the stall 88 and the famous chicken rice balls stall? Will it be opened on the weekdays as well?
Please help.

Thank you

Abd Rahman:
As the Jonker Street is heavily influenced by Chinese cultures, and thus most of the eating places along this street are unfortunately, not certified as Halal. Pork-free food stalls can be found in most Baba Nyonya offering though.
