There are a number of authorized MBMB parking coupon resellers in the town, but a lot people just couldn't figure out the relevant sign to look for. I could guess that coupons were being used on the Sunday I visited but it was a guess because there was no English translation, although Malacca is visited by thousands of tourists every year. I asked a local person where to buy coupons, they did not know. Then I asked if I could buy a coupon from them, they told me no coupons were needed on Sundays. I got a fine but where /how to pay.
