How are you?
I have heard from my malaysian friend that there are used to be some Chinese New year Celebrations/ Festival at Jonker Street , Melaka for every year.
I have looked for all the official travel website in Melaka and Malaysia Tourism, I couldn’t find any information for the coming 2010 Event list.
I would be appreciated if you could ind out more about this and post it up on your blog or Email to me. Because I would visit Malaysia in Feb 2010 for a month and have to plan for the itenary. There are no chance to miss for the fantastic big celebrations in Malaysia, especially Melaka.

Most eating places are still open during first few days of CNY. They usually start taking a long break after the 9th day of CNY. Even though shopping mall is opening during CNY, but many outlets will be closed for the first 2 days.
